Searching for a New Home?
There are two ways to look for lakefront property at Smith Mountain Lake on the Internet.
- The hard way:
The way you are doing it now, searching through hundreds of web sites, sorting out numerous duplicates, only to discover later that your favorite property has been sold and the realtor just hasn't had time to remove it (or left it on their web site just to get you to contact them, big waste of your time).
- The easy way:
Sign up for my weekly newsletter which contains 100% of the waterfront real estate listings with pictures of everything on and around Smith Mountain Lake currently listed for sale on MLS (Multiple Listing Service), about 1200 properties. These are the same MLS listings that the REALTORS use. I compile the list and email it to you week.

This area is somewhat like a time warp, back to a period when you were a child and nobody was in a hurry. Located far enough south to be out of the extreme winter weather, while still having the complete four-season climate. These are "the good old days" and you might as well start enjoying them now, while your investment steadily appreciates. If you have ever wanted a place on a mountain lake, you owe it to yourself and your family to check out this area, come to Smith Mountain Lake and see what the area really looks like.
I provide you with all the information; pictures, maps, listings, plats and anything else you need before you venture here to see for yourself. Be aware, however, that once you've been here, you will come back.
